Two words: Space Rock. Hum is/was the Illinois-based fuzztone foursome with a shifting but final lineup of Matt Talbott (vocals/guitar), Tim Lash (guitar), Jeff Dimpsey (bass), and Bryan St.Pere (drums) They have four studio albums: Fillet Show (1991), Electra 2000 (1993), You'd Prefer an Astronaut (1995) and the brilliant Downward is Heavenward (1998). There have been rumors after recent reunion performances that Hum may become active again; both live and in the studio. Since breaking up on January 1, 2001, Hum has only played one live show, at Furnace Fest on August 16, 2003. There is also a russian experimental ambient project called Hum http://www.discogs.com/artist/Hum now, it's free and you will discover so much great music :) Upload Your MusicFor ArtistsFor LabelsWidgetsDownload Last.fmImage ChartsPlugins & ExtrasData FeedsBlog Badges & LogoTop ChartsWeekly Top ArtistsWeekly Top TracksOverall Tag ChartsFree DownloadsForumsWeb Site SupportLast.fm Client SupportFeedback and IdeasAbout UsContactAdvertiseTeamModeratorsCareersHelpFAQSupportWhat’s NewPrivacySubscribeRecent Updates.

Afternoon With The Axolotls Lyrics

Hum

She hits the blade with both hands high.
Downward is heavenward, and we are not alone.
Condensers on and the drop is found,
a fingertip trace says to me I can see you and you are wet.
A bed of dead leaves grace the ground,
a quick glance to the other side and we will not be found.
Symbionts in haste demand come close,
screams to me I can see you above the rest.
And through it all she seems secure.
Downward is heavenward, and we are not alone.
Head thrown back, a sickened sigh, her eyes shut,
Beelzebub can we do this without a net?
