Two words: Space Rock. Hum is/was the Illinois-based fuzztone foursome with a shifting but final lineup of Matt Talbott (vocals/guitar), Tim Lash (guitar), Jeff Dimpsey (bass), and Bryan St.Pere (drums) They have four studio albums: Fillet Show (1991), Electra 2000 (1993), You'd Prefer an Astronaut (1995) and the brilliant Downward is Heavenward (1998). There have been rumors after recent reunion performances that Hum may become active again; both live and in the studio. Since breaking up on January 1, 2001, Hum has only played one live show, at Furnace Fest on August 16, 2003. There is also a russian experimental ambient project called Hum http://www.discogs.com/artist/Hum now, it's free and you will discover so much great music :) Upload Your MusicFor ArtistsFor LabelsWidgetsDownload Last.fmImage ChartsPlugins & ExtrasData FeedsBlog Badges & LogoTop ChartsWeekly Top ArtistsWeekly Top TracksOverall Tag ChartsFree DownloadsForumsWeb Site SupportLast.fm Client SupportFeedback and IdeasAbout UsContactAdvertiseTeamModeratorsCareersHelpFAQSupportWhat’s NewPrivacySubscribeRecent Updates.

Pocket Lyrics

Hum

I reach in my pockets while you were climbing rockets now,
two dirty right-handed gloves.
I sleep by the bedside with a nasty dream in my eye,
I'd hate to wake you now.
A pile of my pants is lying crumpled by the mattress,
it's pushing arms length now.
I reach in my pocket, for the bed,
tried not to rock it, I'd hate to wake you now.
Yeah, the pile of myself is lying crumpled by the mattress,
just push it arms-length away.
I saw you by the planet, did she mean to rock it?
It's just to cover it up.
Half asleep in the arms of you,
and I know the end is on us, bearing down.
Yeah, you are the one that I cannot own,
and I feel this as another way to die.
Half alive in the arms of you,
and I know the end is on us, bearing down.
Yeah, you are the one that I cannot own,
and I feel this as a lonely way to die.
Yeah to die, yeah die, yeah you.
